Guilts

You’re already too late to sit on a queue at an NTC office. You rush through the gate and quickly take the last place in the queue. It’s been like forty minutes now and you’ve only moved half the queue. After some minutes, more people add the queue behind you. It’s been an hour now and the rage is killing you. While you in a temper and yet a blank mind, you realize that an old man is on the queue behind you coughing badly. You look backwards. He is old, very old. He is only able to stand and walk with the support bars at the sides. In a few tenths of seconds, he starts to puke and puts his hands around his stomach. He starts to feel dizzy and is feeling rather too difficult to stand in the queue any longer. You ask him if he’s alright and if he any needs help. He replies that he is feeling very bad. He says, “Can you please take me to the clinic? I’m feeling hard to breathe. Please.” You are in no condition to leave this queue and re-join this later so you call the guards and let the...

Inside the blanket

Its 9.15 pm and you're taking the downstairs towards your room after.dinner. Your LCD is switched on and no lights are on inside the room. As you enter your room, towards your left, on your bed, you see a bulkily placed blanket in a shape as if someone's hiding inside it. You move the blanket around so as to not make it seem as creepy. You sit on your computer chair and start watching the youtube videos that you had left buffering. After some thirty minutes, you click for another video and now it needs buffering. So lean your back on the chair. Suddenly you have an intuition that someone's behind you. You look back. There's a little girl, whom you'd never seen in your life sitting on your bed covering herself till her neck with the blanket. In a melodious small but a sharp tone she says, "Can I watch cartoons please?". Astonished by that creepy event, shivers run through your spine. You put some cartoons for her. You try to raise the volume but there isn...

Caught in Arena

Hello reader, whoever you are. I’m glad that somebody found this message. My name is Sagar Singh. I am from Nepal. I am a meteorologist and I’ve been working as a weather and climate consultant for road construction projects. Today I am about to tell you the story of my life, about events which changed everything and everybody in the world. It was that evening I had dreams about Eva. In the dream, she had come back from New York where she works there as a physicist. We were at Pokhara lakeside spending the best moments of our lives. It is said that when we’re in love, everything disappears and we’d only see the face of the person we’ve fallen for. I’d see Eva’s face brighter and brighter every day and no one else around or anywhere would matter. I was woken up by a huge sound of a building falling. My head was very dizzy. It was some evening. I could see things very blur. My head was pounding a lot. It was hard to breathe but I caught the air after 30 seconds or less. The sky w...
