Eternity Part I: HE IS EVERYWHERE

Part I: HE IS EVERYWHERE “He is everywhere. He follows me to school, at home, at parks, at office, everywhere. He doesn’t speak to me. He just stares at me. Many times I’ve tried reaching up to him to talk but he’d be gone, like suddenly. He’s always there in the crowd. Many times he’d just be behind me. I’d be too scared to turn around so I’d run away. He’s there in the mirror; behind me. Just starting at me and when I’d turn back, he’d walk away and disappear. “Stop being crazy. How long has it been? Have you talked with the police?” “I know this sounds unbelievable, I know. But please, I finally gathered courage to come to you to tell you this. It’s almost been a year now. I’ve been living in a fear. What am I going to say to the police? I just can’t find a solution. I am so scared RAUL.” “Hey man don’t panic. I’m with you now. You don’t have to stay alone if you’re scared. We’ll find a solution. We find him anyhow. Let me see him too.” “Hmm…… Thanks…. So...

Salt and Universe

Fair Warning There's only a fine line between loving somebody so much and being creepy. Later don't tell me that I didn't warn ya Salt and Universe Now its all salt in the ocean, our eyes turned away and Life! Holding on to someone from another Universe! And I'm left on the shadows, How? and when am I gonna get some sleep I.WANT.YOU. To know that I still remember that face Where I can find everything, find my grace Those whiskers chase Brown eyes that glaze I know how long your smiles stretch I know by heart the average number of times you smile in a given time length And it feels like Home, Home Your arms, arms That one time you hold me, I was so glad that I was alive in this Universe! But I'm left on the shadows, Now! Drops drop, and now its all salt salt, Darling, I wish there were more of us written in the Universe! Cuz' What am I gonna do when I can't forget Those cheekbones, I know it in my fingers how far they are fr...

A stone that has been turned

Add suger in my bake Staring at the twin beds A life in a nighttime A million crosswords And a puzzle we don't solve Noises outside that we don't mind I'm told to forget about the world Cuz' there's a pressure that we both like I give you one more time Wondering if there's one more life That I can live with Cover ourselves up and open the blinds Hoping that there's still tomorrow A war that never ends Making through the sorrows A moment that we've left behind

The Repairman

A blank page is where I stare Emotions run with fear and a word I can't dare The glass will shatter in a whisper of mine And will be left with pieces and forever to remind 40 meters; on the top of the tower A shooting star thousand miles away I can see There aren't words that mean close to my wish Close my eyes and a baby's breath I can breathe Remind me about what I said yesterday And let me walk on flames I'm sorry but I can't die today Everything's different; yet nothing's really changed

What I've Lost I Count As Gain

One day we'll be counting if we've paid our son's school's fee and how many friends we have caught up that year And not averaging cgpa and internals in tears For me, mark sheets are only de-invitations for the places where 4.0 achievers go To be honest, they only have narrow choices of ways to follow But I feel like my world is much more beautiful than that. Because we are strong from within not from grades So load your chest with nicotine instead of stress! 20 years from now I won't remember how much I scored in what semester But where I went, what I did and with whom I shared a laughter who carried me from a boozebar to the bed  and who helped me cross a fence who gave me a stick to light and who took a step forward when I had a fight And for now lets be done with the 150 rupee book And get over with the papers we took Not to prove that we're also capable But because they're missing the fact that we're invincible.

The Bus Ride

When the bouncing and moving bus takes a brake for a while, My head turns to the left to see whats there in a mile And there everything freezes At the command of the nature, the flow ceases In a blink of a Pico, I am lost into the woods The giant dark green hill that holds those woods The black clouds above want to hide that beauty Shivers I get as I explore that place that ends in infinity The visions are enchanted and the world is full of magic What we can not listen to are heard in the forest What we can not see in the light are seen in the darkest

Guilts

You’re already too late to sit on a queue at an NTC office. You rush through the gate and quickly take the last place in the queue. It’s been like forty minutes now and you’ve only moved half the queue. After some minutes, more people add the queue behind you. It’s been an hour now and the rage is killing you. While you in a temper and yet a blank mind, you realize that an old man is on the queue behind you coughing badly. You look backwards. He is old, very old. He is only able to stand and walk with the support bars at the sides. In a few tenths of seconds, he starts to puke and puts his hands around his stomach. He starts to feel dizzy and is feeling rather too difficult to stand in the queue any longer. You ask him if he’s alright and if he any needs help. He replies that he is feeling very bad. He says, “Can you please take me to the clinic? I’m feeling hard to breathe. Please.” You are in no condition to leave this queue and re-join this later so you call the guards and let the...
